Important Notes

  • All processing is performed locally in your browser. No images are sent to any server.
  • Very large images (over 4096px in any dimension) are automatically downscaled during re-encoding to prevent browser memory issues.
  • GIF images are converted using only the first frame.
  • TIFF support depends on your browser; Safari generally supports TIFF, while Chrome and Firefox may not.
  • The "Fill" mode may crop parts of the image that extend beyond the page area.
  • At 100% quality, original JPEG/PNG bytes are embedded directly (pass-through) when no user rotation is applied, ensuring zero quality loss.
  • The "Fit to Image" page size creates pages that match each image's dimensions based on the selected DPI setting.

Common Use Cases

  • Document scanning: Combine scanned document images into a single PDF for filing or sharing.
  • Photo albums: Create PDF photo books from multiple photographs with consistent page layout.
  • Report submission: Convert receipt images, ID scans, or certificate photos into PDF format for online submission.
  • Presentation materials: Combine slide images or diagrams into a single PDF document.
  • Portfolio creation: Compile artwork, designs, or photography into a professional PDF portfolio.

Why Client-Side Processing Matters

Unlike most online image-to-PDF converters that upload your files to remote servers, this tool processes everything locally in your browser using JavaScript and the pdf-lib library. This means your sensitive documents (ID cards, medical records, financial statements, personal photos) never leave your device. The tool works offline once loaded, and no account registration is required. This approach is ideal for handling confidential or private images that should not be transmitted over the internet.

Supported Browsers

  • Google Chrome 80+
